Episode 45 – Fictional Families
Fivers, I write to you as I wait for a Telstra technician to come to my home to fix my ADSL connection, which isn’t actually through Telstra anyway. Stupid monopolistic ownership of copper wires. I’m sure everyone has heard complaints about waiting for Telstra before, but like I’ve totally been here for ages and they were meant to give me a phone call an hour before turning up (no phone call received), and turn up between 8 and 5pm. Its nearly 4:30, so I’m guessing they’re going to be late. And I totally have to do an airport pickup soon. And this wireless internet sucks arse. I guess what I’m saying is if I had a cool family living here with me then I might have been able to go out today and do things. So what would be the greatest family ever? Listen and find out. Also, thanks to Jasper from JasperSchultz.com for coming along for the ride while we await Brad’s return. Enjoy!

No commentsEpisode 44 – Days That Should Be Public Holidays
This week, we’ve got a man down, so we’ve had to replace Brad this week with Jeb! Some of you may know Jeb already from worldwidejeb.org, or read some of his stuff on The Enthusiast (theenthusiast.com.au) and a few weeks ago was even on The Morning Show on Channel 7 with Larry Emdur and the leggy Kylie “I make gay men straight” Gillies.
Jeb’s also taken a visit to his local Asian supermarket, and has brought back some treats for us, so there’s some great radio in the form of listening to us eat some chocolate that Lil’ Jon would approve of, as well as gender-specific chocolate.
Oh yeah, and we also discuss some days that are so special to us, that we think are good enough to turn into a national holiday.

Happy week following the weekend of Easter, everyone. This week we present to you a tournament edition of Favourite Five, where we battle out our favourite fictional characters, from cartoons and the comics and the movies and that.
If you’re a comic fan in particular, you will probably dig this podcast for all the references to those girls you’ve seen in those magazines, and if you’re not a comic fan you’ll have to stick around for the witticisms (I’m not a comic sort of person myself, but I managed just fine because I went to my happy place inside my head).
So thanks again for downloading and listening (PS every download in the month of April will mean Nick Riewoldt gets a hug from me when I’m in my happy place).
