I&#039;m going to be a podantic fuckwit and say that Napoleon Dynamite is a Gen Y film, and hasn&#039;t been around long enough to gain true cult status (equal to the likes of High Fidelity even). 

However, to say it has no plot is a bit simplistic (granted it does kind of plod along). It&#039;s narrative structure is less important than the series of morality tales that make up this film about racism, the domestic and nuclear family, education, and developemt. I reckon it&#039;s quite an achievement given it&#039;s been brought to us by a Mormon film company. I find a certain reassurance that I can still enjoy a film despite the complete lack of violence or swearing. 

Anyway - there&#039;s my two cents.</description>
